TEAM LOCATIONS REVEALED FOR MLP ASIA 2026
Major League Pickleball is coming to Asia. Six teams are set to battle over five weeks as the inaugural season of MLP Asia tips off November this year.
Major League Pickleball pits pro teams against each other in an electric, co-ed format built to light up the arena. Fast-paced, high-octane, and made for the fans who turn up loud for their team.
Six teams will compete in Season 1, with lineups from China, Hong Kong China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam all taking the court. Teams will field a roster of six players and each will build their squad from the ground up.
The foundation of every roster will start at home. Teams will lock three domestic players from their own market — at least one male and one female — forming the local core of the lineup. For these domestic players, it means hometown crowds in their corner as they chase the title against the best in the region.
September then brings the live auction. A global player pool — featuring regional and international talent — takes the spotlight as pro teams bid head-to-head, in real time, to complete their rosters. By the final bid, six teams will be locked, loaded, and ready for the season ahead
Season 1 tips off Friday 13 November and runs across four weekends over five weeks. Every Friday and Saturday brings the drama, with six match days of pool play deciding who advances and who goes home.
